I installed one below the wings on my 920 2 weeks ago. I'm able to pull into the launch and step out no problem. I can send you pics if you like.
Upgrade to a Phoenix 920 with out a doubt. I'd consider a Ranger 521 but can't afford, besides it is to slow anyway.
