Thanks for info!
Looking for a mounting bracket for an old HDS-7 Gen 2, but they all say "Gen 2 Touch". Are they compatible? TIA.
I was halfway joking about the double strength dose, but if ya think about it.. It always turned pads yellow, they just recovered. Seems to reason 2x strength could/would kill them completely. Reeds...
Pads are the only thing that survived my home lake (Monroe). Used to be lined with reeds/buggy whips in about 3-4' of water with eel grass, pad fields and hydrilla behind the reeds.. Nothing left but...
Scott Martin said the reason for his recent record weight and tx win was due to the lake only having x acres (can't remember the actual amount) of preferred water (depth, clarity, vegetation) for the...
Matt must of made the cardinal sin of venturing outside of the Fl. forum. lol I learned that lesson long ago. Way to easy to get sucked down a rabbit hole if you enter "the lounge"
:thumb up2:
I remember bitching when ramps were choked, you couldn't even put the trailer in the water w/o it coming out with every bunk and cross member -completely- covered in hydrilla. (not Headwaters)

Pontoon'rs are famous for being oblivious. It's like they've caught fish in 1 spot and hell or high water they're gonna go anchor in that spot, whether you or someone else is already there or not....
"Directions to FL boat ramps" thread, up in the pinned area, has both ramps. Just enter your starting point and it'll give ya directions.
Freshwater/inland fisherman and businesses are not taken seriously in Fl. The million dollar yachties along the coasts have a little pull, but anything freshwater they don't give a crap about....
I added 2 more ramps for Crystal River. Up in the pinned section "Directions to Florida Boat Ramps" thread. Looks like some nice water to fish and sightsee! Have fun!
*I know you're looking for...
Once upon a time there was a BBC tournament on Crystal River. They used the Crystal River Days Inn as the hub. Ramp is right in back. I've never actually been there, but did some of the leg work that...
On the slim to none chance I'd ever vote a fishing lake over my livelihood, is there a politician (D or R) who's platform mentions restoring lakes and stopping poison spray? I always say it's a...
LoL. Let your kids get indoctrinated, give up your rights to protect yourself, pay more taxes, embrace violent crime and pray the Democrats give any more of a rats ass then Republicans about fishing...
With the splitring + a speed-snap, yo-yo retrieve with aftermarket larger hooks, fouls on braid more often. Least for me it did.
I use a speed clip on all crank type baits. Mostly due to impatience, but for freer swimming as well. Lipless I remove the split ring, divers I usually leave it.
Thanks fellas!
^^^ True that. Especially not freshwater anglers. If it was the mega $$ yachties along the coasts they might have some pull. But it's crazy that there's no oversight, apparently at all? Even yard...
Motor Serial: OG638491 Below is the stock lower that came on this motor. Not sure it's model #. But Im looking for a good (the best) flush/muffs attachment for it? I normally use a large plastic...
1+oz flip/pitch stick. If you want to reel a lure with it, something heavy like an Alabama rig. Big plopper maybe, but they better get it good or you'll probably rip their face off.
Gen3 has built in GPS, correct? Would adding the puck just be for more precise placement or am I missing something? TIA.
Thank you Don!
Have a leak around the fuel/water separator. What's the procedure here? Do I need teflon tape around the threads of the bottom plugin? Do I fill it with fuel before replacing? Hand tight + 1/4 turn?...
I'd love to see dying hydrilla on the river. lol I've not seen hydrilla on the St. Johns (lakes) in probably 10 years. But yea, they'll spray anything green, to death. I've seen manatees reaching up...
