Roy, Any chance you can get Wildcat Dude back on here? I sure miss the old man.
Haven't been around much since I sold my Tracker but it is great to see they finally added a separate forum. Many thanks to Roy for all he has done over the years for this forum and I am sure will do...
Says the guy with the Z521. Nice boat. Wish I could afford one.
Congrats on the new boat. You will love it.
Congrats on the new boat.:thumb up2:
I agree with your statement. Of course, losing $7500 dollars after 12 years isn't bad. Some of those high dollar tin boats lose that after the first year or so.
Saw this on the BPS site and thought about all the times I have busted my shins and knees on my hitch. Has anyone tried them?
...
Awesome. Congratulations on the sale.
Never noticed that much of a difference between the two. Also, never notice the bow on either being too high or too low. They both fish fine and I am curious how one fishes better than the other.
Jeez, give the young guy a break. I don't think his intent was to show a really rough water sequence or that he is the best boater on the water. He said he hadn't seen any videos on YouTube of the...
Looks like old JM has a winner in this boat. Curious if the other manufacturers follow suit and offer a similar entry level setup that people can afford without breaking the bank.
There is a really nice Ranger 198 for sale on here that is loaded for under $30k. You really need to take a look at it if you are interested in a very lightly used boat.
Judging by the responses on this thread and the many other threads on here, I don't know if I can agree with that statement. If you get a tin boat that doesn't leak from the factory you can consider...
Late model Wranglers are a lot different than the Wranglers most of us grew up with. Totally different vehicle and will handle the boat without a problem.
The 1980 model came with a merc.

:beers:
That would be awesome.:thumb up2:
I haven't commented in a while but nothing has changed. I don't understand why people bash other peoples boats. It doesn't matter if you fish out of a kayak or a $80,000 glass boat. At least everyone...
Luckily they can rest up next week against Mercer and get healthy. Those boys from Mississippi State came to play and dang near pulled another upset.
I find it much easier backing a tandem trailer than a single. It may be due to the length, but they tend to respond much better when backing.
I bought a set for my boat from Roy, too. I would highly recommend this mod but don't know if he is still making them. Even on those windy days that sneak up on you after you launch, loading was...
If you can swing the extra $200 or so I would go with the Maxxum, too. You will find the Edge will move that boat around great but will have a hard time getting it dialed in between the settings....
Do you think Ranger would be giving him a new hull if he hit something?
Seems like a lot of blaming on the OP going on without first hand knowledge. Sad that some of us immediately blame the owners for the way they drive instead of the manufacturer. I don't remember that...
Never seen anyone on this board with an all electric.
