Finished it up & tested for a couple hours Saturday afternoon & LOVE it! I don't have a tray for it yet, for I'm sill not that brave with a jigsaw as of now. I'm not too happy with my cable...
I'm finishing my 80# 45" shaft Ultrex install on my 21xd this afternoon. I hope to get to the water tomorrow afternoon with it. I replaced a 25 year old 12/24 OMC and man alive the view up front is...
Many thanks for the quick replies & help! I guess I'll go with a Dual Pro PS3 or SS3. After all, my current Dual Pro is only 23 ears old & still kicking!
I've been all over the site referenced & can't find material regarding proper chargers. Please forgive my possible oversight, for I'm at the age that happens regularly, now. :) I have a PM-1 & was...
if you have a do-it mold use the base hole pins in lieu of the weedguards to pour the heads. also, use the pins when you powder coat the jig & take them out immediately after you dip your jig. then...
i've read somewhere about a set of pliers that's ideal for wrapping wire around jig/s'bait skirts to hold them on. could someone please point me in the right direction? also, best wire to do this...
i've got an '04 225ho on my bullet and it's been a great motor for me. it runs strong, sips the oil & ain't too bad on gas as long as i keep my foot out of it. unfortunately, i know absolutely...
i had to buy 10 to get my 6 to index properly. they were cheap at a local napa, but they told me i was sol on bringing any back.
my '04 225ho (non etec) manual said to use xd100 in colder temps so as not to set off an oil alarm. i think the the "lower" oils are thicker & may not flow as better in colder temps. just stick to...
thanks for the info.
is there any way to make these work on an '04 225ho? this is NOT an e-tec motor.

never ran xd50, but, last case of xd100 i bought was $25/gal. just priced it last week at $29.50/gal, in bulk, using my old empty gal jugs.
whatever it is on my old lew's bb1n reels for any lipped bait. for lipless baits it's whatever is in my chronarchs.
isn't point 10 at noe creek? if so, you're dead on some good spots within sight of the ramp. take a good look where you put the boat in & you shouldn't even have to start your big motor to be on some...
it/he might be all you guys said; however, i was naive enought to watch the clip & it was pretty cool for a guy like me trying to learn all he can about swimbait fishing.
besides the fall/sink rate of the jig & the depth you're fishing there's also another factor to consider.....the heavier the jig, the more disturbance it will cause on the bottom. a heavier jig will...
cherokee is my favorite lake (brownfish, baby!!!). the big sacks are not coming from deeper depths than you're fishing. the lake fishes like two toally different lakes most of the time - upper end...
i've got an '04 225ho & it's been 99.9% flawless, so far. the .1% was a little miss at idle that was taken care of very easily by my dealer. as for oil, i've run xd100 since day one (1) with great...
in no way am i bashing any sponsors at all; however, there's also a guy just up from you on morgan rd in charleston that is a factory certified wty repair man/shop for mg & mk that has all sorts of...
xd100 in my '04 225ho (non-etec) since day one & no problems, at all.
do it in a well ventilated area & be very careful not to get any on you. pour your mold a couple of times without a hook to heat it up so when you "go for it" the lead will fill your cavity more...
mustad ultra point #37177 in 3/0 or 4/0. switched from gammys to these & it's been nite & day difference.
whatever you throw & however you fish them......get a good plug knocker & you won't lose 'em any more. they don't just work on plugs - jigs, spinnerbaits, etc, etc, too.
been there done that but i fixed it & don't have the problem any more. use a mustad ultra point #37177 in 3/0 or 4/0 & your troubles are over. i use it casting & flipping with great success on hook...
