    theres more than one model for the bigger motors...

    theres more than one model for the bigger motors not sure about the 150.
    the one I have will not fall off like the original and also has movable arms to keep mtr from turning so no steering locks...

    Jbraud says I can raise my jack plate 1 hole at the spacer. Can I place a wedge between the static plate and jack plate while I have it unbolted or should I place it between mtr and j plate.?

    Can't compare top end yet as I still can't raise engine high enough for the redesigned SM LU.

    Always a good idea to carry at least 50ft of rope.
    Some states require a throwable life saving device and rope to be carried.
    IMO it's best to tie to the bow eye on disabled rig. Slow and steady....
