Price on 8” manual to 79412 please
Ordered my 23 Tempest Plus today. Should have it at the end of next week. Can’t wait to see how it runs.
It’s mounted 3rd hole from the top. Most I can move it up is 2 holes, which looks like will give me 1.5”
Well the boats Speedo doesn’t work for crap anyway. Ha! When I first bought it, I thought there is no way My Dad’s ‘73 Kingfisher was faster than this boat. Then GPS’d it. Whew!
I read a bunch of other guys setups on the same boat in the ProCraft owners here on BBC. Several guys listing 60-65. Going to grab a 23 Tempest and jackplate. See if I can bust that 65 mark.
Why would I need to measure again or subtract the step? The PTP measurement was taken exactly as the diagram above, from the pad, not transom. So the 5.5” is the correct measurement.
PTP was taken at the pad, not the drain. Yeah She’s no lightweight.

PTP is 5.5” so appears I need to get the motor up on the transom a bit. Time for a jackplate for sure. Also, that appears to be a stepped hull. Am I correct?
Sorry, new to this. What is PTP? No jackplate, mounted directly to the transom. Low to mid 60’s is what I’m expecting and i was surprised the 19p only revved to 5900, but figured was because it’s...
How much does that Cobra weigh? Plenty of bow lift out that 4 blade?
Thanks, so you’re thinking stay away from 4 blades in general due to their natural stern lift.

P/O had a 19p Hi-Five that had zero top end and didn’t hold in the turns. RPM at w.o.t was 5900 and ran 45mph gps on a good day. Yesterday I swapped to a Solas...
I currently run a 19p High5 on my 225 Opti and it’ll turn 6000 rpm. Max rpm for our motors is 5750. I think a 23p 3 or 4 blade might be the sweet spot. I guess all depends on your setup though.
Any update on this prop with ventholes drilled? I saw it online the other day and it definitely peaked my interest at that price.
