Thanks. I checked that first. As it turns out the overflow and drain are both plumbed out the bottom of the hull (rear facing). I am pretty sure the last bit of water came in through the rubber boots...
I was mostly concerned with the stern getting out of the water. It was acceptable. Next trip out, I'll take a vid out of the bow. It was way better as well.
Here is a link to a video of the worst hole shot of the day. That's the way it usually goes. Ya never get the one you want. Even at that, I'm still happy with it. Way better than it was before the...
Out all day and didn't get enough water to fill a gallon pail. Ah, the sweet smell of success!
OK, If any of you are considering throwing one of these things at your boat, DO IT! I went from wallowing around like a pig in the mud wondering if I would ever plane, to popping right up there in...
My pump isn't so cheap... It's 80 bucks. Jabsco self priming 800 GPH. I think i got it figured. Apparently, they sometimes stick and bleed down if they get a piece of dirt in the diaphragm. It seemed...
I'm pretty new to bass boats and I've been trying to get rid of the bow lift for a better holes hot but you're looking for more. Why more?
I just bought a 1993 Cajun 1800 XPT with a Yamaha Pro V 150. I noticed that my anode on the LU is not there. Initially I wasnt too concerned as I have not experienced any torque steer, I never keep...
Ok, thanks for all the help! Lol. I put a SE Sport 300 on today. Super easy install. I'll post once I've had a chance to try it out.
Wondering if anyone here has any experience with a foil on their Cajun bass boat. Not looking for speculation, just real life experience. I had a Hydro stabilizer on my 1989 Spectrum with a 115 Merc...
I am having a problem with my bilge pump. Last trip out, it worked awesome for the most part, but at the end of the day, it didn't work anymore. I pulled my plug in the hull and the water drained for...
My last boat was a 19.5 1994 Vanguard Lebaron with a 195 HP 4.3L I/O. It handled big water nicely, but I didn't really like the thing. It was too heavy. BUT, it never had water inside the hull. Last...
K, you all sound pretty serious. When I ask for advice and that many people say the same thing, I should listen. So, the vents need to be functional. Why can't I vent them to the front? It does the...
Hmmm. I see your point, but if I have fuel fumes under there, then I've got problems. That fuel cell has 2 fittings with rubber hoses vented to the transom well. The only reason for fumes would be a...
I am referring to the aluminum grills on the top of the hull right at the back. One on each side. After tearing into the boat and disassembling a bunch of stuff, I can only think that they are there...
Does anyone know what the prop was originally on this setup? it currently has a 23P with a bit of damage. Ive dressed out most of it, but I have no way to know if it has been dressed out before. Im...
So I took out my 1993 1800 XPT with the factory installed Yamaha Pro V 150 today for the maiden voyage. I know now that there are some issues I need to address. (3 souls on board)
1) It takes for...
Kinda curious what the original tarp would have looked like installed on the boat. I see 4 snaps... not going to hold much down with that.
Hello Everyone,
First post here. I bought a 1993 Cajun XPT 1800 a couple of weeks ago and am trying to learn the boat. I am curious about what on earth this little black push pull knob is for to...
