I got the same boat a few weeks back. 10 inch hydro jp. Runs strong and fast. Tempest 21p gets me 65 mph at rev limiter. It hauls ass you're gonna love it.

Been awhile since ive been on here, been a busy year with work. I bought all the props. Not alot of shops around here, so I just went for it.

Its been a while, I still have the 21p tempest at 3.75" below pad 59mph at 6100rpm by myself with tackle. runs about 57 with 3 people. It smokes bass boats in the rough stuff. The boats gets alot...

10" JP installed. Boat loaded with 3 men and tackle. SWS2-21P performed great, 52 mph at 5600rpm. I'm pretty happy, seeing the boat was loaded down. Now, to wait on the 21 tempest.

I agree. I'm putting the 10" JP on hopefully tomorrow. I'll find out what this boat will do eventually. Unless I go broke first. LOL

Not really what I expected but, I only have a 6 inch JP. I wonder if a 10" would work better for my setup. Trying to get to 60 but, I don't think it will happen. I'm gonna send the 23 tempest back...

Alright, tested out the 23P tempest this evening. Plenty of bow lift, just too much prop. Here are the results.
2000rpm-15.5mph-33.82% slip
3000rmp 31.4mph-10.62% slip
4000rpm-40.4mph-13.75%slip...

Gonna try a tempest 23 this weekend. I will post results soon.

I left the SWS2 21p on the boat and plan on ditching the others. I am thinking of the Tempest 21 or 22P and maybe a TXP 21P. I will post the results and hopefully it will save someone a little...
