Todd, do you know the cartography (ie. topography) source for Garmin maps?
As BH described, you update the AT 1 manually by identifying the update on the SD card. Also, the AT 1 has to be powered up.
Thinking about replacing my Lowrance AT2 with a Livescope Plus paired with either a 126SV or 8612. Will either or both head units offer screenshots and/or recording video?
Look at this thread: https://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=1239927
How long did you wait without it populating? Have you tried sharing a map card in the "old" unit with the "new" unit?
In order to get more replies, I suggest you start a new thread. After connecting the units, your waypoints from your "old" G3 should populate to the "new" G3.
If your H unit is a Solix, then you can export the data from your L unit in gpx format to a SD card and use that card to import the data to your Solix. If your H unit is Helix, then BH is correct,...
I recall a conflict with HDS units manufactured during/after the pandemic that had to use different software due to a change in processor, resulting in networking problems between pre and post...
You might search through the website as I know there was some company mentioned that performs screen repair/replacement. I simply cannot recall the name.
Humminbird PC, RideLeader(standalone version if you can find it), Reefmaster Waypoint Manager (circa $45). There are a couple others but I am drawing a blank just now.
Thanks. I have never surrendered to the WIFI process; too many bad reports.
I run a combo of HDS Live, HDS Pro and AT2. I need to update each one. I know you update the AT2 thru the file selection process, while updating the head units requires one to start from a power...
check with Russell Marine Products
Since you purchased both units used from RMP, I suggest you talk to them about your problem. If they can't solve, then return them within the warranty window they provide. RMP should then be able...
Do a search on this site as there are a couple of service providers that MAY be able to repair your unit. I seem to recall 1 is named Clear ??? and I don't recall the other, but a through search...
Insure you have the 2d selected as the source for channel 1.
Do you have a separate 2d transducer connected to the Pro? If so, make sure you have it selected correctly under source.
Not with NMEA. You need to connect the units via ethernet. Waypoints will replicate, but not trails.
Are the Live units the same vintage? The early models of Live came with built in maps that would not allow shading. Not sure when the change occurred, but later units came with updated maps (not...
Sleepy, I recently installed a HDS Pro 12 and 3n1hd. I have a dual console mount with the Pro 12 and a Live 12. I have a 2d shoot thru connected to my Live 12. All units connected via ethernet.

I believe buying a new card and renewing provides you with the same cartography, etc. When you buy a new card, the first thing you have to do is register the card, then download the mapping. ...
My experience is the Lives are slower to boot, but faster once booted.
Unlike waypoints, trails do not share between units in a Lowrance setup. Trails are unique to each unit. If you want the same trails on your bow unit, you will have to import them from a SD card...
You should also try another ethernet cable. I once had a brand new boat with a bad ethernet cable connecting the console unit to the bow. The observed symptoms were very similar to what you are...
Further to my previous post. I spoke with RMP and they confirmed the new 3n1 hd does not provide the user with the option of 800 Khz. The choices are 1075 Khz or 455 Khz. Furthermore, whenever...
