Move down to 10 or 12lb test. That rod won't handle a fish in the type of cover that you need 15lb flouro for anyway. You didn't say what brand line but if you're using cheap stuff and don't wish to...

I have one. Hasn't moved on me yet. Clips onto place and it's fairly difficult to remove. I have mine tethered to the other graph mount with some old flyline because I know I would lose it otherwise.

There are redeyes in there already. A feeble strain of Coosa River origin that strongly resemble a smallmouth. Melones used to have a good number of them but the spots have all but eliminated them.
Coffee is coffee.
Same boat same issue. My cousin redid the weld and added a brace. Now my grab pole is showing some cracking.
They'll get in there one way or another. Whatever lives in the Sac will eventually live in there. Everything that lives in the Delta lives in San Luis and the Forebay. Same with Pyramid down...

They're not plastic and they're bulletproof. The material is way beyond what comes stock with the transducer. Worth the money for me anyway.
1) Daiwa
2) Shimano
Finally stopped screwing around with all the others
