bottom end went in my 225 opti long shaft. Can I replace it with a long shaft, year 2002. Found a XL shaft year 2004 in really good shape.

My ECU failed on my 225 opti year 2002. Part number 859610R94. The new part number that replaces the old one is 8M0086583. Anyone parting one out please PM me.
