Seal Coat sucks as a finish coat . Use the epoxy you will be more happy . Just my 2 cents worth and 46 years experience .
I use zip ties they come in all the colors you need . Quick easy , no fuss no muss .
I use a heat gun all the time best way to go . Keep an alcohol burner around for emergencies though . If you watch Harbor Freight you can get one on sale for around ten bucks when they have sales.
Be careful if you drill out the pot . To much and it will leak like heck . Also the size of head will effect the pour. 3/4 0z and up take a heavy lead stream you can't get from the average lead pot...

Clean them with veniger dry them but do not touch them with bare hands. Clamp the eye end of the blade in a tying vice and spray with a good clear top coat. Barlows will have top coat.
