Not sure about forward view but the 11 degrees didn't work well for perspective mode on my trolling motor. I ended up getting the 0 degree mount by fish obsessed and the perspective mode is wayyy...
Cajun glad you got it working but are you saying you moved the yellow fuse holder to the battery, then the 8 guage wire, then the rest of the Garmin power cable? If so this needs to be changed a bit.

I like the perko switch holders (brackets) used in the back of the cx boats for the trolling motor and main switch. Anyone know where I can purchase the brackets?
On my 2020 zx225 I had to also use a steering wheel spacer with the bbt.
I bet you could make it work by playing with the gimbal brackets. Precision sonar makes "tall brackets" for replacing the gimbals.
There's also a few YouTube channels that are opening various lithium batteries and showing the quality of construction and materials. Might try to find if someone did that battery.
