Despite the recall and posts about issues, My Tour Pro has been trouble free. Best TM I have ever used. The only one I have not used is the Ghost-I know no one with one right now.
You might try Tyler Appling <tyler.appling@duckcandy.com>. That's who I dealt with when handling my return.
I did something similar with a Carbon 12 on my Margay. Precision Sonar. Loved it. I actually regret doing the dual mount style console on my P2.
Have used all but the Ghost. Hated the Force. Liked the Ultrex. Motorguide Tour is the best I have ever used.

Well, I found out mine was 1.25 when i tried t use the hubs i had from my older Optimax. Would not fit. Your existing hub will work.

My boat would almost never load right if I could not power load.
A 23P Tempest would probably be the best starting point.
When I ran 2 strokes, I never used it. The Merc cowl was a very good indicator for me plus feel etc. With the 4 stroke, that cowl tells me nothing, so I am forced to use the gauge.

I have had a few boats in the past where I had to do this. With this P2,when I get it right, it stays thankfully. Saves me that last step.
I really don't think the stow assist is working on mine.
It's the best trolling motor ever made.
Mine was shipped a little over 4. When I went from Fury to Bravo 1, I raised it a little under 3/4". Seem really good there. I could probably come up more, but I am not chasing top speed.
