That is correct only thing computer will say is over rev when over 6150
Thanks stoker for all the good info
Why in the word would any one spend $650 and not raise the limiter . Just don't rev it up if you don't want to prop it to stay at 6000. If your worried about warranty don't rev it when warranty is up...
Will never fit lower is alittle different but will work
I have done it 100 times nothing wrong with running on the motor hose
Program on Ecu?
I know a few that ran there's up to 6800 and 7000 for the last 400 hours. I would say there good
Guys all that's done is limiter lifted to 7000 and map taken from the 300 offshore ecu nothing else. Think about what it would take to change the curve. Thousands of hours to test and set not...
Yes 200 is the same
Just push the switch in with your hand . Sometimes the Metal tab gets bent up on shift switch . Just a test
Yes guys dollar for dollar 200 is a smart move with flash . Same motor with flash but as for the dads boat 3 to 4 gain on just a flash great gain. Take aany other merc yam or etec try to gain 4 mph...
The point is to show that running a smaller pitch on an sho higher in rpm is going faster . It will show the same results on all boats not every boat will see the same number gain but will see a gain...
just unplug the fuel bowl sensor and key up
there is no way the program will be changed . just drop two pitch and run to 6800 plus then tell me there is no gain. find don guyger ask him if there is a gain sho 300 flash checkmate 92.7 he can...
all they are is a cut air box no need just take air box off
I would think gps would have helped to point out danger . as long as someone was watching more then just speed
how many hours on that prop also is humidity hight?
can you test the spark from coil both boot and coil if it's not hitting right it will load up then burn Rich . is there any other work done to the motor ?
thats what I'm saying drop pitch and spin it up 8mph is a great gain . glad someone finally tried it no season to flash an Ecu and stay at low rpm
don't think you will see him change a thing sorry just my opinion . it's just a 300 program with a rev raised to 7000 takes a lot to change a program . It is falling because it looses timing in that...
is the pisser shooting water out sounds like water pump issue
I feel it's all in how you treat it all motors break .there moving parts that will some day fail
When was it serviced last lift pumps are part of a servive
Thumps up for hpdi had many of them great motor sorry. To all the guys that wont ever buy another yamaha good luck with the other brands just my two cents
