Is RTD considered outdoor plywood?

I am replacing the wood on my 87 Ranger 360V boat seats. The skins are in very good shape for a 31 year old boat.

The wood in them is completely rotten.

What wood would you all recommend...

Agree with walkabout. I did the same thing. In order to get old cables (ran double) angle grinder cut it like butter.

Only issue I have had was a freeze. It expanded and destroyed sending unit.

Motor is 87 15087 xr2 serial # #0B168951.

Last weekend had trouble maintaining bulb pressure. Looked and I have gas pouring from what I believe to be fuel pump. It appears the gaskets are bad.
