I spent $26k on a brand new 17'6" z175 Ranger and I tow it with my v8 powered muscle car sedan. I couldn't see spending more than that on a boat and then even buying a truck to tow it with, so I went...
Thanks, the thought of vinyl protestant never crossed my mind....
First I tried 3/4" schedule 40 pc. It looked perfect.

Surprising it was a waste of $30. It seemingly melted, or deformed heavily in the heat. It was glued and...
I would love to take $275 away from a tourney. -$40 is the usual punishment for my fishing ineptitude.
I have not argued with anyone's opinion. Stay on topic please.
Well it ain't 102 wide, it's 94, and regardless of how irrationally you declare, a shorter boat is vastly more maneuverable that a boat 3 or 4 foot longer and 10 inches wider.
I drive a sedan, I...
Very likely on both accounts imo. Close and hungry.
It's a physical fact that shorter smaller boats are much more maneuverable than longer boats, I really can't understand how there are so many in here willing to deny that fact. Maybe you can live...
Nice link. Is this your first day on the internet?
I'm told that most will unbolt.
This happened yesterday for the first time ever on my 1 year old ranger with graph set up on the ranger stock wires. I had to pull the fuse and re-inserr it to turn it back on. It was very peculiar....
I drive a pegleg rear end rwd car and I've never had a problem on any ramp steep or not, even if the boat trailer goes off the end of the ramp.
20' single axle trailer....interesting.
seems like overkill. If someone wants to break into the locker latches that come on the boat, why wouldn't they break into the locker bar across the lockers?
I guarantee it would take me less that...
that's where the "why" part comes in.
4 to 5 foot.
I think I'd like an 18'6" with a 175 or 200. I appreciate the maneuverability on land and water of an 18' boat over a 20 or 21. My current boat is 17'6" with a 115. The 115 doesn't get the boat on...
that is beautiful
So I got this done and I've driven around a bunch and tried it out and I like it just as much as I thought I would. The back up feels a little weird, you can tell the brakes are a little activated...
All my cranking rods are
Mine looked like a mickey mouse P.O.S. from day one. I'm not happy with the build quality of my ranger trailer. I lost several bunk bolts too, 13-14 months old.
The issue could be the steepness of that particular ramp. I have one that I cannot use when the water is flowing from the turbines due to the same issues you describe.
^this
But I do have $3k in electronics.
No. They all have their own uses.
That said, I have none. I use a 14lb river anchor if I really don't want to move.
I use this:
