Nope... the 30 is always on the left and the 70 is always on the right. No way to change that in the current software. See my signature picture below... On the right unit, chart is 30% on the left...

Just to clarify, it has to be powered on but you don't have to activate the Wet Switch to play with the settings.
It really does sound like you have some sort of hardware issue on the Solix itself... Especially if you were having networking issues between units as well. Direct connect between Mega Live and the...
Yes, but the Mega Live does have to be connected and powered on.
I don't know the answer for sure but the Apex Operations Manual has a footnote saying the SM3000 is optional for extremely deep water. It just says the port can be used for Airmar Chirp Transducers....
They we're on Fakebook and not BBC.
No, the Y cable totally replaces the SI signal of the trolling motor transducer with the SI from the Mega 360. With one unit, the only way to switch is to bypass the Y Cable by plugging and...
Many have had the multiple download file extension issue with Mega Live Updates. Glad you got it resolved!
I really doubt it. Take a look at the Helix+ Solix section of the following:
https://humminbird-help.johnsonoutdoors.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412774839703-Network-Sharing-Humminbird-to-Humminbird
I'm not sure what you mean by vertical mount. The AS GPS HS must be horizontal to work properly.
Bob, make sure you haven't downloaded the 1.150 file more than once. People have had this issue if the file has a version number at the end... (1), (2), etc.
Is the only thing on the network the Solix and the Mega Live?
I have my Mega Live direct connected to my Apex but also have a Solix unit connected to the other Apex Ethernet port. I haven't seen...
Don't expect much improvement with Mega Live as the image isn't really that fine. Now, Mega 360 and SI, that's a different story. The added Apex resolution helps with those fine details.
That's not a common Solix problem I've seen. If you are going through a 5 port hub, maybe try a different port.
Yes, I have the AS GPS HS connected to my Apex and have access to it on my Solix using the Ethernet network. Works the same with Solix/Solix or Aoex/Apex.
Make sure you are using the sonar Max Depth and not the range max depth on the Sonar views... two totally different things.
I'm one of the ones who was having strange depth readings, and long...
There really isn't a good way to compare photos from Apex or Solix screens since taking a picture of the screen looks like crap. Also, Apex screen captures have to be dumbed down on BBC for them to...
Yeah, it sounds like it has some sort of short inside the unit.
Interesting. I sure would like to know the cost and what's in it for future inquiries. That part number is different than the Mega Live Ice conversion kit which is $300... see pic.
The only other thing I can think of then is that something is "off" with AHRS in the Mega Live. Is it possible that there is some electromagnetic interference going on at the Mega Live unit itself?
...
19 and 20 are my two favorite color palette selections but I do use others from time to time. Because of the positioning of my Mega Live, the only option I had was for it to flip down. This is not...
GPS and Heading have zero to do with each other... except the fact that they are both ways of capturing direction. GPS is satellite based and Heading is magnetic compass based. One can work fine and...
Actually, changing Solix Palette colors while using Mega Live can be very helpful. I have 3 primary color Palettes I switch between depending on depth and water condition.
Also, having it on the...
One other thought on number 1 is possible magnetic interference on the heading sensor. That would definitely cause the boat icon to go wonky as it calculates the Mega Live position in relationship to...
Here are my thoughts:
1) Check your Port/Starboard Mega Live installation settings. It sounds like you have it set wrong.
2) Yes, the Dynamic Contrast settings are a little wonky with the 1.150...
