NO I understand exactly what you meant....I was just thinking that it might be more secore using the insulators through the hole as the install manual suggests and attaching a nyloc nut to the bolt
does it make sense to do both....install with the insulators and then add the nyloc nut to the bottom as the bolt protrudes through....I like the idea of the rubber between the boat and the motor
