I can't speak of the IMX model but the NRX 883 for me was a complete bust. I prefer the Cashion ICON Chatterbait rod. Not soft but forgiving enough to allow the fish to take the bait.

This worked perfectly. Didn't cut the skirt tabs till after I had it on the spinnerbait. Looks just like I wanted it to be. Dark top and white bottom.

Thank you I will try that. I was using painters tape and that was not getting it to where I wanted it to be.

I am going to guess you never fished in Mississippi.

I guess the real question is why are you drop shooting in those conditions. More of a sight feeding technique.

Same here with the electrical tape. I have more rods on the deck than I should and most are all NRX spinning and casting so they blend. The tape help a bunch identifying the different models.
