I don’t think that’s to bad for a ranger. Fastest I’ve ever been in one anyways. I ran the 25 fury and the boat seemed to lift and hold a lot better. Definitely had a different feeling while driving....
26p t plus was the best. 5600 @ 72.4 and 5900-6k @ 74.7. Speed was still climbing but boat lane stretch wasn’t straight enough.

Right on thanks fellas. My other question is on the pvs I have 2 full plugs in and the other 2 have small holes in the middle. What’s the best combo for exhaust vents?
Picked up my first ranger last week and took it out Saturday. 68.5mph around 5700 didn’t really catch the tach to know for sure and I didn’t have much to line it out any better with boat traffic etc....
Confirmed it’s a 26 raker. I’m going to try a 25p tempest plus this weekend and see what happens. I don’t think I will benefit from a 28
I got a Johnson 225 ho bored .0040 out rebuilt. Currently running a 26p raker I think there’s no writing just the previous owners name. Just curious what others are running.
Seems like were in the same range as far as speed. Only difference besides prop pitch is the jack plate. I have a manual set back I think its 8 in may be 6 id have to look. But thanks for your input
