If you have GPS on your boat it will draw power even with the power off unless you have perko or other type master shut off switch.

Ditto on the baby monitor.Have been using it for two years.Only problem I had was this year at the Potomac it rained hard one night and it kept me awake most of the night....
Not sure of the cost of the filters but figure somewhere between $70 and $80 per hour.

If you are runnin the higher HP motor you should get a T1 .You are lucky it didn't take the lower unit out.

Just a thought.Try holding the power button in for 10 seconds then release.It could be that the computer just needs a reset
Had the same problem after oil pump replacement.Took it back to the dealer and he readjusted the oil pum linkage.Now it is a lot better but will use more than before the replacement.

Yes ,I got the new pump installed soon after the recall came out.
I have the non-series 2 /2007 and have not had one problem.
I just use 1 layer thick of electrical tape around the receiver.Only have to change it one time during the season!
