Thanks Brandon972. I have really enjoyed making my own baits. If all works out, it could save alot of money. Of course, thats just more to spend on good rods and reels.
KB, Those are some excellent looking baits. Great job.
I have a slide clamp that is kinda long. It works great, I can set it down to use both hands if needed, or hold and turn it.
Ky 521, You are right about that. It is an addication. I already have several other baits cut out, have the lexan lips cut out, just need to attach lips. And start the painting process.
Thanks...
I just started making my own crankbaits and jigs. These are the first ones I have ever done. With alot of practice I will get much better at it. I tied some red flash on the front hook of the one...
Jason, You did a fantastic job on that redo. It is very functional, and roomy. Looks great, Nice Job.
Great job, it looks good and very usable.
Where can I get the molding for the boats windshield? I need to replace all the molding on a windshield before the glass falls out.
Thanks for the help,
Emmett
Nice job, it looks great.
Thanks for the tips.
Cart7, Where can I get some of the Minwax Helmsman Urethane? Sounds like what I need on my project boat.
Sounds like a good project for father and son. Ya'll will enjoy what you have done, when it is finished, and you will be able to look back on it for years to come. Good luck, looking forward to...

On the one I have it says, for every cup of resin add 14 drops of hardner. I worked well for me. Hope this helps.
Nice job BassCat78, really looks good.
blastncast, I know what you mean about the sanding. I am working on a 1970 20' IMP. The hardest part is the sanding, and of course moving it when I want to get to the Nitro to go fishing. It will...
Great job. Looks good.
You can get Marine Tex at Wal Mart, in the auto section, with the bondo, touch up paint, sand paper for autos. Or at Academy.
Looks good. That keel shield should make a big diferance.
Nice job, looks good.
That is the worst part of restoring a boat, I found out. It seems like I have been sanding for ever. But I think in a couple of days I will be done with the sanding.
I will check with them. Thanks for the great info Bass Hawk 87. Emmett
