Both are great but I pick Bull Shoals if it were me !

Several resort in that area , Gastons , Newlands , Stay and play , all the folks in that area are boat friendly and safe just depends on how nice of a place you would like to stay .

Twin lakes is in MTN Home and Batesville Bassmasters is not to far away .

Just remember this April with be the busiest in recent memory on Bull shoals. Lot of BIG tournaments , Bass cat invitational and the Bass master Elite series .

There used to be a place called the Stay and Play resort , not fancy but easy to get in and out of and close to the ramp.

You can catch a few on topwater early and late but mostly small fish .
