I'd get thermostats checked. They should be closing so your water temp gets higher than that. As said earlier in this thread, you want temps over 100 or you take a chance on seizing....

Thanks, Lee! Appreciate the info...I will be sure to take care of this motor. I never had a second's problem with my 150, so I must have done something right!! Glad I have the SmartCraft monitor...
I do have the SmartCraft engine monitor...the square one. Undertanding the danger of running WOT with a cold engine, what is a good safe temp range ?
