I have a 2014 z7 sport with a custom dowco cover that was ordered to fit the motor guide....I recently swapped to a minkota ultex and have no issues. Fit is better than with the motor guide actually.

I considered it for my z7 sport but didn't want to sacrifice the deck space.

I'm working with the mechanic now to try and dial in my performance and handling. I'm lucky when I can get over 50 mph. He suggested going with a 10" jack plate vs my 8" and trying a 4 blade prop....
