    Have you tried using different size plugs. On my Trophy plus 4 blade i have two medium and two large hole plugs. I am not sure on the yamaha but on a Mercury you want it to spin up to around 3000 rpm...

    I see that your running a Yamaha does your prop have PVS plugs. If it does try changing them. You can really change your holeshot performance by playing around with the plugs.

    Put a 6 inch manual jackplate on that boat. Reprop it with a 23P tempest and you will not believe the performance difference. Take the time to play with setting the jackplate height....

    What RPM's is your 150 running with a 25p prop. Which prop are you running. That sounds like way to much prop for that motor. You should be running around 5600 rpm if your not your losing...
