Went through all the wires around motor, then all wires under dash, found several wire ends free but nothing to connect them to.

isolated just the motor Pos/Neg to the extra battery, Motor fires up but no RPM, when I throw the ACC switch the Gas gauge pegs over full
and it seems that the issue is worse....

Had this issue for a while, so just now getting back to fixing up the little issues
that I have had for a while. (I'm a bum that would rather fish)

Easiest fix would be to run the motor off one...

Had a marina/boat dealer in PA switch out the motors because I blew the heads, I'm gathering they changed the harness.
Also I have the extra battery in parallel so it acts like one big battery when...

That might just be the answer I have a second battery, but have it switched to act like
a jump box.

OK weather or not if the motor (2009 Yamaha 225 Series II) is running when I turn on the ACC switch to turn on everything else
ie. Live wells, lights, bilge pumps etc, I notice that the RPM gauge...

Had one fabricated at my local metal shop, out of aluminum $93.00 carpeted it match my boat; size 14" x 14" by 8" high.
Fits between my 21 SS Extreme seats. Water proof, but no cup holders.

Well this thread started under Stratos/Javalin boats when I was looking for info on Hydraulic jack plate
set up. I kinda got carried away and ended up adding the following:

I used Azek 3/8" , sanded it with palm sander to allow paint to stick, use paint spray for plastic, ALL IS GOOD!

buddy of mine has talons mounted to the transom (2), the only thing I can say about them is they are noisy.

Don't get me wrong they work but they are loud when deploying and retracting, maybe it...
