I enjoy the second console. I may take the plunge next week and get a big hole saw and cut an opening between locker and console

99TR18 Dual Console

I fish 8' rods and above. Typically all tied with big baits for striped bass. I absolutely hate storing my rods on deck. But an 8' rod won't fit in my rod locker.

With all the inserts removed, it won't fit physically. Tip of boat to end of locker is about 7'9. Can't get the butt past the locker to slide it in
