I just aquired a 2004 HPDI 300 HP. and when I put my 24 Hydromotive Quad IV prop on it the prop bottomed out Carrier nut. di I just need a different thrust washer? or prop work? I am Confused.

not sure, what specs you asking for , It is 20 ' 730 lbs I think 150 HP efi Mercury weight unknown. no set back. looks like prop shaft is 7 ' or so below hull. 12 degree hull .125 aluminum

How much will it effect the integrity of the bow if I drill a .5" hole in the angle hanging out over the bow to slide a .5" stainless rod through as a shallow water anchor?
