I leveled the trailer, I measured the pad right below drain plug, then I leveled motor and measured to centerline of shaft. That measurement was 4" difference. Is that not the correct way? I'm trying...

That's what my problem is, I think my jackplate is maxed out at 4" and I find that hard 2 believe from setups I've read on here. I had pics but can't get them 2 load.

Thanks for the reply gamblersam. Manual jp, 4" below pad. I was running a 25p predator (great holeshot and great on fuel) 6000-6100 rpm 13 psi wp, 73 was my fastest, wanted to chinewalk bad at 72-73....

Not that I know of, seems to run fine. Looses its prime sometimes. Just trying to avoid a costly problem later.
