Thanks Dave, not really wanting to sell it, just curious as to whether it's an OK rod to use for crankbaits. I've been using it, but I really don't throw crankbaits that much.

I have an old Lew's Crankin" Stick. I don't fish crankbaits a lot, but sometimes that's the bite. Is this still a good rod or should I look to upgrade? There are some good tips on later model rods...
yes, lure craft. Their 502 plastic.
These baits float in my kitchen sink. When I hold the body of the craw the claws float up a little. Not extremely bouyant but they don't lay flat on the bottom.
thanks, worm-maker. I've posted pics before but it's a pain in the a$$. These baits look good and I'm sure they'll be effective.. I fish a lot of jigs (which I make) and I really like the paca...
Poured my first plastics today, paca chunks. Seemed to go OK, made about 45 each of 2 different colors. Need to know how long to let them set before packaging with scent and worm oil. I understand...
Actually, Whitfield spoke to a large group of tourny fisherman at the New Kuttawa boat ramp last summer. He was promising them to keep the water up to attract tournament fishing to the area. ...
Thanks, Worm-maker, let me know. Actually, I'm just wanting to get started pouring plastics. I make my own jigs already. I like the paca craws and chunks for their action but they're expensive. ...
Is the action as good as the original??
I don't understand why delaying the drop down to winter pool until after the labor day weekend will affect the buck brush. They're only talking about leaving the water at summer pool for an...
Lurecraft, http://www.lurecraft.com, 800-925-9088. p21 of their 2007 catalog. Show molds for 2" chunk ($8.00), 3" chunk ($9.50) and 3.75" craw ($10.50).
Has anyone tried pouring Paca Craws or Paca Chunks? Do they have the same action as the originals?
Seaguar and improved clinch knot. Slobber it up real good. If it doesn't snug up real good or doesn't look right - retie it.
I thought the fishing pretty well sucked! There were 42 boats in the KBF Club Challenge Tournament. Winning team (combined weight for 3 boats, 2 fishermen per boat) was a little over 15 lbs. I...
Look me up Terry. Staying at Pine Tree Inn. Pre-fishing saturday, drinking martini's Sat nite. Driving a Silver Tundra double cab towing Triton TR21X with Honda 225 . Kinda stands out in the...
Any info on how to fish Rough River. I'm fishing KBF Club Challenge on Sunday. Only fished it once before at last year's rally. Since I live on Barkley it's unlikely I'll fish Rough more than once...
Thanks for all your help guys. I'll be prefishing on Sep 9, tourny is on the 10th. I'll try to get the latest info from you before I go.

Fishing KBF Club Challenge on Rough River Sept. 10. If you guys recall from the first rally I definitely don't know how to fish that lake. Any advice appreciated. What about water levels? ...
I live in KY and am not required to have a license on my trailer. They issued me one for travel out of state but I've never put it on. I doubt if you'd have any problem. Cops should be looking for...
Good to see everyone. Sorry I couldn't fish - my daughter was home from college (USC) moving to Pittsburgh. I was needed to help get her and her friends going with the pontoon boat and the...
Thanks, I'll call them. Hope they still have rooms - I need 3 for our club. Any 2nd choices?
That was before I started driving it! Actually, I've had a pretty good year fishing Barkley. A little slow lately - and HOT !!!!!
Fishing KBF Club Challenge at Rough on Sept. 10. What's the choices for lodging. I know Pine Tree Inn changed hands. Thanks
I can fish both days and have open passenger seat in my boat. Also, I have a spare bedroom available at my house (queen size bed). I live about 20 miles from KY Dam Marina. Anyone interested - Let...
