Just did mine today. Performed like a new animal. Did not do reeds just carbs and throttle body.

Shop confirmed it was a bad tach. I just didnt want to pay them $150 for tach and $85 for install. It works everyonce in a while for a few seconds.

I did. Only place I could find. Mine are in perfect shape as far as no cracks etc. Just faded. I can pull and paint. Not sure about ugly faded switches though.
