Already taken care of.
There is no Humminbird board moderator, so Al would be the one to make changes.
There is no 3.5 software for an ONIX.
The last version is 3.350 dated 9/13/2019
The one I can think of is the depth glitch was not fully resolved yet. May have to use 200 kHz by itself if you have depth readout issues.
It will if you change the 2D frequency setting to HB 83/200 kHz in the Sonar menu, turn off Auto Configure. The ONIX one doesn't do HW CHIRP.
No difference. Combo was used with the number series units to indicate it was a combination of sonar and GPS. Just some of the ONIX units got that same designation. All ONIX units are sonar and GPS...
Cross-talk will still show something, just not accurately.
There is always a chance a new transducer is faulty. You trouble shoot as I described in post #739.
You don't have to link them.
Swap units and the bow unit should do 2D and DI connected to the SI transducer and the SI unit should be a 2D unit when connected to a 2D transducer.
Another thing, if you have the units connected via Ethernet, disconnect that until you get the SI unit working properly.
Take a screen shot of the Setup menu CHIRP Sonar/ Sonar Source page.
The ONIX Side Imaging transducer has two Side Imaging piezos, one Down Imaging piezo, one 2D sonar piezo, and a temp sensor.
Restore Factory Defaults and the unit will automatically fix your wrong...
It is CHO because some what to use a different transducer like an AIRMAR or just use the unit as a Chart Plotter or a RADAR display.
It is international which means it has more languages, and its...
It is an international model (x) without transducer (cho).
(c) is color display
(i) is internal GPS antenna
The power cord conductors are stranded fine wire. You should use marine grade tinned stranded wire. Just put the small wire inside the larger wire and solder them together. Seal/insulate the splices...
If you have current or somewhat current software, there is a depth glitch that many are experiencing. Should be a software fix at some point.
Reducing the Sensitivity and only using 200 kHz may help...
Did you try #2?
Sometimes the ONIX will not recognize a Navionics card unless it has done so before. The Navionics card should be locked. Being locked or not has nothing to do with a unit reading it. Locked is Write...
The manuals are in the unit's memory. Home screen icon on the far right.
Do not think they did an updated manual when the software changed the menus.
I have the manual .pdf file from 2016 but it...
If the software update was working correctly, the unit shuts down and restarts after the update is loaded. If you screwed up by messing with the unit while the whole process is on-going, it has to be...

If the XTM 14 20 MDI T is what you are inquiring about:
No, and No. The ONIX does not have the frequencies. Attaching a transducer does not give it frequencies it doesn't have.
The SOLIX uses the same power cord and GPS NMEA cable so those are current parts.
Just do a web search for those model numbers with Humminbird ( Humminbird PC-12). There may be several sources. Site sponsors, Ebay, Amazon, Cabelas, Walmart, etc.
I just did one for the power cable...
