Screws should rest on the stop 1 at idle and 1 at wot. But wait u can't just adjust those screws to the stops. will have to do link&sync to get it setup correctly , the screws u turn will mess...

The carbs pretty simple , very little parts in those, most of the time u can get away with just a cleaning. Next time take the air box off and watch ur carbs as u pump the primer bulb and look...

From my experience. One box is idle stabilizer and timing advance, and the box on side i think is hooked into the alarm , wanna keep the box for alarm if your using the temp alarm with control box

from the #s. I'm guessing you fishing holes are pretty close to the ramp you use ? Don't look like u take long runs to a fishin hole? Also do you have a no wake zone you gotta idle thru alot?

Testing at trim switches isn't doing you any good , do as joe and don said , gotta go straight to motor then u can work urself out to the issue ,
