According to the state website the gravel ramp is in shallow water, therefore is best suited for canoes,inflatable and other shallow-draft, hand carried craft.

I was just checking on the Bassmaster & Bass fan websites and it shows a bass weighing 25+ pounds being caught but it was not officialy weighed in or measured so maybe the old record will stand....

I was wondering if anyone has tested any of the waters around the area.

I just got some from my order with BPS I got a couple of 3 inch ones .
I also got 3 & 4" yum sweet cheeks and will give them a try when I go fishing.

The only thing is that I do not have 4w drive on my truck and I may get stuck if I go by the state ramp so I will have to see about the ramp at black pond and take it from...

what road would I take to get to black pond in Rochester also where do you get the permit from to launch off the ramp?
