Went 3 times during Thanksgiving holidays and managed 15 weighers total..River is full of funk on each end, clear in the middle. Several fish looked like they had LMBV (full of sores.)
Bite fair...
Just for the record the river was closed last weekend due to high water.....Just trying to save someone a trip. MAke sure to call before you make the haul
If the Code man is not playing baseball I am planning on being there. Forgive my ignorance but is there going to be a tourney?

KLSU, did you make the trip to Natchez?
Try Carolina rigging centipedes on creek channels. Make sure you have fresh strong line and hold on to the rod. Good luck
Either Bruin or lake Natchez if it were me.
Thanks for the congrats. Tough night, didn't catch the first weigher until 9:30 then had 5 weighers by 10:30. Had another 3 lber on that didn't survive the flip technique and then 4 14 1/8 ers that...
Went last night from 7:00PM until 3:00AM. Yep, you read right. Caught 14 fish with maybe 2 weighers.. This is the worst I have seen the river in quite some time.
Buddy, I slammed em in the winter of 2002 and have tried every winter since then. I catch a few every now and then but nothing like it was way back when. I may be wrong but I certainly wouldn't...
Alright men, I am DEFINATELY not going to be there this weekend due to baseball unless it rains on Friday . Pleasure meeting you Cajun...Thanks for coming up before and after the tourney. Whatever...
Cajun, if you want the details on my prop you can contact Bill Kemp @ bill_00@bellsouth.net. He can probably set you up with the man that initially did the work on it and provide all the specifics. ...
Cajun, your right she does run. I didn't have her opened up all the way either. When Chad came up on the right side I backed out of it and started looking for my exit ramp. I am very pleased. ...
Chad, congrats on your win last night! My son didn't have a baseball game this weekend so I was able to slip out for an early tourney. I saw you pass me shortly after the bend. We had 12.33 for...
Well it's a good think Chad wasn't there or they would have been in 2nd place with 28.27lbs... That would have been brutal. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif ...
I notice the same thing. Pretty scary when you hear what sounds like someone headed your way and they are on the other side of the river. Went last night and it was horrible. Sometimes your the...
Cajun, I was on the bow of the Bumblebee running the TM. Its my tournament buddies boat but he always wants me to run the TM. We managed to get back to the other end before the fog got really bad. ...
Cajun, I was out there last Friday night and man was it foggy. We picked up at 12:00 and put in at LA express. Were you fishing by yourself? Had a mini tournament with Vosburg and Plunket. Caught...
I say that removing the slot caused the big fish to disappear. During the slot I could catch 20 or 30 keepers a night every night. And break off a min of once a night on a serious fish.
The LDWF...

Last week did fair on 3 days of fishing managed to catch 5 to 7 weighers each day from 8 to 4. Today however was horrible. The lake is muddy from end to end. Caught 12 with two weighers. The lake...
