I use a 5A fuse.
Never knew the Ghost motor had an accellerator; frankly this video makes no sense. He says you can change directions by simply pressing the accellerator and you will keep going, but he also says you...
Thanks for the update...never had a terminating resistor go out but now I will know it is a possible source of a NMEA network problem.
Agreed, SS3D if my preference also. I will get the 3in1 HD nosecone for my Ghost to complement my SS3D and have the best of both worlds where I need them.
I show how to do this in my video of installing Dual AT2 units (part 1 and 2). The part about getting into the starboard rod locker is in part 2:
Dual Active Target 2 Install and Transducer...
That is a "trick" question in that there is an offset correction that can be applied in the menu, however, this is treating a symptom and not the problem. While it may help you in one direction it...
Yes, Blue Seas are the best, and you can get one for a single connection, or multiple connections. Get one that takes blade fuses and is water resistant. I attached mine to my hull under my bow...
Because of the difference in wire size, and for other reasons, I recommend you terminate the 10gauge wire to a fuse block, then install a 5 amp fuse in the block at the position where you connect...
Not likely assuming you just disconnected it and reconnected it.
I don't usually post fishing videos on this board but wanted to share this one from yesterday's trip to nearby American Lake in western Washington. Please help to support my channel by liking and...
The Point-1 normally comes with a 15-foot cable and one tee.
You should get a NMEA2000 starter kit which comes with a power node with Tee, and two 2-foot drop cables with Tees, a 15-foot cable...
This ^^^^. Try stopping your SideScan and DownScan and see if the lines go away. If this is the case then a hole shot plate or different mounting location will fix your problem.
Your transducer mounting looks correct in that photo, so that rules out that problem. Let us know if you get it working!
Great job on the video showing the quality of your build! Looking forward to using one!
I leave mine on all the time; suspect it does use a little more power but I do not know this for a fact, nor does it concern me.
Frankly it looks like your transducer is weak. I would have thought a hard reset would have fixed it, but apparently not. If you have a different ethernet cable try that; also check all your...
Probably not the answer you wish to hear, but one to consider regardless; you can run both without crosstalk from the other, but only if you have one pinging and not the other.
Still useful to...
:beers:
BTW, since your boat had a prior AT1 you will need to "restore defaults" on the unit (PRO/LIVE/Carbon?) so that it reads the AT2.
Have you updated all the units (head unit and AT2)?
Certainly...
Help us help you. We need to see what you are seeing.
Take a couple of moments and view this video about taking screenshots, and then post a screenshot of what you are seeing. Then we can help. ...
No.
You are welcome, grasshopper! Glad you got it working again.
This ^^^, and I will add to make sure all units have their most recent update.
Lowrance provides leveling rubber washers that you can use. There are also wedges that you can install from companies like Ashmore. By making sure your mount is level and your trolling motor shaft...
I am not a fan of trusting a Ram Mount with my electronics (they can work loose, especially with age) and in rough water your graph can slam down. I went a different route as you can see in this...
