Thanks for the tip. Where the throttle cable goes in the motor i found a bracket there with a plastic lock tab. That lock tab came loose and let the cable slide over and bind up. Shifts fine now.

Whatever if you rebuild or swap powerheads make sure you fix what caused it to blow and have the injectors cleaned. Been fighting my HPDI for a couple months now.
