Yes I had the factory install one next to the driver's seat when I ordered mine in March. I also fish alone 99% of the time so it comes in VERY handy!
Check out Driftmaster's crowfoot system. No drilling.
I just put some on mine. I ran the cables through the front side of the splashwell. Had to drill 3/4" holes for the grommets and cables.
Has anyone installed a HB high speed transducer on an AVX boat? If so can you post some pics? I'm losing signal on plane and looking at some options.
Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to it.
I retired from teaching and coaching last year and this is my retirement package from myself. Custom AVX1880 from Clark Marine in Franklin TN. Humminbird Helix 9 & 10, Garmin 93 & Livescope, Ultrex...
I'm also transitioning from bass to crappie fishing and I looked hard at the 189C when it came out. I ended up getting an 1880 because it is a better built boat and will perform better on the water....
Had my 1880 out today for the first time as well. What a sweet ride.
Slainte! :beers:
Ike starring Tom Selleck is a good one as well. From the perspective of Eisenhower.
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Saving Private Ryan
Battle of the Bulge

In Harm's Way (one of my favorites)
Pearl Harbor
Midway (Old & New)
A Bridge Too Far

Absolutely. The transducer must be level..no ifs, ands or buts.
BTW KV my boat that is coming in looks to be set up very similar to yours with what you have. :thumb up2:
Well that one is definitely at an angle but I didn't see that boat. Don't know where it was when I was there but the ones I looked at were all level. Weird.
Not only is March 2nd my daughter's birthday but in 2020 it is the day my brand new AVX 1880 started on the production line. Just talked with Trent at Clark Marine and he said the delivery date is...
I just went and looked in person. It is mounted level on that boat as all other Vexus boats with SI they have in stock. They said they have never had one come in crooked or at an angle.
Rise and shine!
Does the new 189C crappie boat have a pad hull as well?
Makes me wish I had a cough!
Guess I'm still waiting.
I have not heard that! Hopefully it's true. There's nothing on their website with a 1880c just the 189c. SClark can you confirm this??
Vexus is getting close to making what I want. The 189 though does not come with polyurea flooring or trailer step which are options that I require. Now if that floor plan was put on an 1880 I'd be...
Nice smallies but 40 degrees celsius is pretty hot!
Invest in a Billy Ba Roo and be the ball.
