Palm trees have branches?
"Bird bath"? Is that what you call it? Around here we call it a hoe bath (or some variation of that). I don't shower at deer camp but I will clean up in front of the woodstove from time to time.
I wonder about that. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them aren't personally connected to the Middle East (immigration, religion, relatives in the homeland) and aren't on anybody's payroll
"Stock truck......bass"
To my knowledge, ME IFW has never raised or stocked a LM bass. It's all trout and salmon here, baby! I don't even think we raise any rainbows. Last I knew those...
A lot of them were using the lids from the black and yellow totes. It's a tactical error not to fasten handles to the inside though. Wrapping your fingers around the edges makes for inviting targets
True, we lacked enough nursery habitat for the young bluegills. A little more shallow, weedy area probably would have provided enough recruitment to sustain the population
Disclaimer: I'm just a hacker. But I think you can get a good feel for a club with 5-10 hits. Now if you're looking at what driver gives the best results off the tee, that could take some time.

I stocked our 1/2 AC pond with bluegills 40 years ago. 2 years later the population had exploded so I introduced LM. It took them approx 35 years but it looks like the bass finally wiped out the...
I think it would be a mistake to underestimate anyone involved. At UCLA there are some willing to fight. They brought plywood, screw guns, and pepper spray to try and hold the barricade
I can't believe my CD is 34 years old!
Things heated up at UCLA this morning. Would like to see a peaceful resolution but it doesn't look like that's probable at the moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGZWDbfkZtQ
My first thought would be to dig a second pond next to the existing pond and then breech the divider. But if the existing pond can be easily drained then just do that and enlarge it. Oh wait, I...
Yup, good clean tackle. I'm afraid there's going to be a lawsuit incoming though. I expect a lawyer will argue that the suspect slipped on the banner thingy as opposed to resisting.
The guy fishing next to us drilled at least a dozen holes through 15" of ice this winter but it wasn't severe cold (probably 20's).
I had honestly never given it any thought until this video popped up on my UTube feed. My grandmother raised mallards and Pekins so I ate plenty of duck eggs as a kid but never turkey. They're said...
I don't see what the big deal is with the NG shooing students anyways. "Shoo, shoo, time to go home kids."
So glad we don't have climbing snakes around here. Or venomous snakes for that matter. Climbing venomous snakes would be the worst. When I go to retrieve my lure from a tree, the worst thing I want...
I don't know why anybody would paint brick but it's their house. I managed to step in just before my stepmother painted a beautiful chestnut table. I was like, what is wrong with you, woman? Beauty...
Excellent idea! Thanks for the tip. I have some old tow strap that would probably work. :thumb up2:
I have a basic rip guide for cutting panels and stuff but I do better with a miter and table saw when building things. Mostly just a matter of experience. BTW in case there was any confusion, my...
Is there any degradation in battery power or life during cold weather? I'm talking zero to 10 below. I have friends who like to have a saw along when sledding. Sucks to be cruising along on fresh...
It's really nothing special--just an extra piece of wood to make more of a tunnel entrance. I have some 5/4 cedar decking scraps that I keep for this purpose

I could do that.....if I didn't mind all of my projects looking like they were done by a 4th grader
You'll be crying for a good long while! Those things are going for almost $4K! I was lucky one day dropping off some stuff at the Salvation Army store and they had just rolled an older 10" Delta onto...
