The primer ball goes soft at idle.
To me it sounds like its just on the pad. The boat will move around a bit but is stable. Might just need to get used to it.
My buddy just repowered with a 115 pro xs. Motor has around 8 hrs. Let me give the background. When the new motor was originally hung the shop was supposed to drain the 3 month old premix fuel....
So I should order a 24? I have an in at merc :)
I'm currently running a 23 tempest on a 175 pro xs. I can turn the tempest to 57-5800 at 65 mph. Rpms depend on chop and water conditions. I'm gonna order a promax and I'm curious if anyone knows...
I have seen that. Anyone run one yet?
Has anyone heard about the new merc racing pro max 4 blade. Supposed to be similar to the bravo xs but uses the blades and x7 alloy of the pro et. Basically added the 2 props together.
If running in saltwater is the flushport alone without running on the muffs good enough? I have always used the flushport only on my yamaha's. btw mine is a 2012 175 pro xs
How accurate are the fuel burn readings on smart craft? ( mercmoniter )
Ok my break in has expired. It lasted just over 2 hours. For some reason I thought double oil ran longer than the countdown timer.
How long will it run double oil? I have many different answers. I've heard anywhere from 10 to 50 hrs.
Thanks
Is it better to run higher rpms and heavier load?
My last one only ticked 3 hours ( 180 minutes ). The 10 hours is double oil only right?
I just purchased a new Merc moniter level II in June. I'm getting a new pro xs 175. Will the merc moniter reset to 0 hours and start the new breakin cycle automatically? Common since would say yes...
Can marine stabil be used in a 2012 175 pro xs ?
