Agree. It did not run out of the box. Way too much stern lift with that long barrel. After Billy did his magic it runs good. I got the BRV for the thick blades, slung too many Bravo’s.

Absolutely. Just let me know :thumb up2:
Randy - do you ever get down to Florida? If so, wouldn’t mind a bit if you wanted to try either BRVs the 28 pitch or 30 pitch. Mine run good now but again, out of the box very sluggish. Working...
Here is a before and after of the barrel length. 547483 547484
Both of my BRV’s did not run good out of the box. Billy at Performance Propeller seems to have a good formula to make the BRVs run. My BRVs in no way run as good as a max5 but it is very similar...
The BRV is stiffer than the Bravo. Probably about to pitches stiffer in my opinion. My 30 BRV runs more like my 32 bravo ran and the 28 BRV is a lot like the 30 Bravo.
Bone stock 30 pitch, I could only turn it 6150. The 31 Promax that my buddy had worked I could turn 6300 (weird I know). I could have probably gotten the 30 worked and put a blow out ring on it and...
Have you tried a 30 pitch Bravo (not lab finish)? Not sure how close your flashed 250 is to the 300r but its got to be close, the bravo 30 is probably the best overall prop for my boat. Here is...
I only fill mine up to about three or four inches over the Oxygenator, not to the overflow hole. I live in Florida and have only lost a fish or two from a tongue hook.
Damn auto correct….”I took mine out” ^
It ok mine out, no issues at all.
I kind of like Red!!!!!!!:pimp:542223

sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant that with a hydo plate it didn’t matter. My bad and yes you are right.:beers:
agree! :beers: I didn’t know what kind of boat he had.
Most boats have a jackplate gauge and it is critical to know where your motor is when your running above pad. As stated in my post above, my boat runs best at 1 3/4” above pad but 2” above pad and I...
I disagree. You NEED to know prop to pad for safety reasons. I have a hydraulic plate and need to know when i get over 1 3/4” above the pad on my jackplate gauge. My boat runs best at 1 3/4” over...
Agree with you all, I have learned my lesson!
After learning my lesson being stranded several times from slinging prop blades, I keep a spare prop in my boat. I hate the extra weight in the boat. Do you guys keep an extra prop in your boat? ...
That is awesome Jeff. Can’t wait to see the other piece and get my hands on one of these!
Awesome….still gives me a thrill every time I crank mine and hear that wicked growl…..love it.
I’m in too. Would love to have one!
That’s awesome. Would love to know what settings he had his gopro set to….crystal clear image with all that wind.
Getting to the spot is half the fun. The dude didn’t do anything wrong, looks like he can drive and didn’t put anyone in any danger. To each his own. After a LONG hard day of work nothing relieves...
I have an SDC. The XRS/SDC might not be as fast as the SST but it ain’t slow either. With my 32 Bravo have my best speed is 92mph…loaded to fish with partner full fuel 85mph. Have never owned an...
