Sorry for the delay in responding... It took a soft reset to fix the problem. All is well. Thanks
Yes latest software. Channel 2 is the BLACK connector? If so, yes. Yes Channel 2 is turned on.
Added the 3-n-1 nosecone for the Ghost and installed the updates for the Carbon and the Ghost. Now the question... I went to menu on the sonar screen and then to installation and it shows the...
I believe that the Charge is designed to charge the TM batteries first. If this is the case, that would explain why the starting battery was still charging after the TM batteries were done. I will be...
I went to Walmart and bought a cheap ($22) electric throw (lightweight blanket). I cover the batteries and run an extension cord and timer to the boat's battery compartment. Set the timer to 3 hours...
The reason they charge the trolling motor batteries first is because they are used to supply emergency power to the starting battery if it fails to start the boat. What is happening is normal.
It's not easy to replace as they did not leave a lot of room to work.
I would verify the wiring is correct on the Charge. Dealers have been known to make a mistake a time or twelve. Then I would reset the Charge by holding the button down for about 20 seconds. The...
Before lithiums I ran Duracell from Batteries Plus Bulbs and they seems to hold up well....
There are a couple things I would suggest trying.
1) Get a friend to come over with their truck and see if the backup lights work and the brakes are unlocked while backing up. This will take out...
In shallow water, your electronics have a lot more to do with spooking fish than the color of the hull of the boat...
A lot depends on where you are. In FL where the bottom is usually sand I have regularly run 65+ in 2' of water. On TN lakes were the bottom usually has rock I won't run hard under 4' unless I know...
Try saving all your settings and waypoints to an SD card and them do a hard reset on both units. I had the same issue and this was the fix.
You might want to go to Russell Marine Products' website and look at the videos they did comparing the 2. Awesome videos that helped explain a lot about how the two work at different depths.
I have a bunch of the Enigmas and have not had any issues at all unless I was the cause.
Let us know when you have updated the website. I am looking for one for my 920. Old age is catching up with me.
There are 2 silver torx screws just below the head unit. Make sure they are tight.
You can actually send the diagnostics directly to PP via email. I did this because I thought I had an issue. They got back to me the very next day. You might want to post a picture of the wiring for...
Just put my order in for a 125 Starting Battery. Couldn't let the sale go by....
Back up all your waypoints AND settings before you do the hard reset.
I can't count the number of miles I have towed my 920 (almost always) with the cover on. On long trips (600+ miles) I take the windshields off and put the support poles up. Less than that I don't. I...
It could be lack of fluid or a big air pocket in the brakes lines. Bleed the lines first.
One other thing to consider is putting you console unit(s) in "standby" while fishing on the bow. Also not having the brightness on the screen at high. You will be amazed at how much savings you will...
I use the 2d thru-hull on Channel 1 and an Active Imaging 3-n-1 on Channel 2. Channel 1 is primarily for depth while running and Channel 2 is for sonar, down and side imaging. Make sure you turn...
