Under warranty called motor guide said it sounds like bad board anything I do might void warranty another 100 mile trip to get it fixed it’s hell to pay to fish tourment and end up dead in water

I got a bird and a garmin up front had same problem humminbird said most interference is aground problem ran a wire from neg. on start battery to neg. on troll battery this solved mine hope it helps u

Got on water after up grade spot lock worked 1st time after that it would pick up gps but no power to motor head would turn like it picked up gps for about 30 seconds sometime would lose all power...
