Set your max depth to whatever the deepest water is you cover. This can help. There are other thing you can do to help the jumpy depth issues, just google it. That’s what I did and it helped.

Each update makes the unit go downhill a little at a time and walla.. here’s the gen3 better upgrade your unit! It’s soo much better! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
