Sounds like the previous owner used yamalube and ring free (probably a Yamaha owner). Just run the oil all the way down and refill with whatever you want.
Yamalube is a quality oil and wont hurt...
Read they changed the gap to improve proformance of the motors because of poor fuel quality w/ the ethanol.
You can always buy an extended warranty for the motor just like any other......

I'd run what the motor is rated for PREMIUM PLUS OIL......
4 blade prop will not help your speed if anything it'll probably reduce it....
