Thanks for the help fellas! It is tough to keep up Wayne. I can't imagine what must have happened to be updating the cable to something new already, but as long as it works, I'm happy enough with...
I spoke with Humminbird today. The 14 M SIDB Y cable (720103-1) is the replacement part for the SM SIDB Y cable (720100-1). These are the MEGA compatible Solix/Onix splitter cables.
The SM SIDB Y cable? I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what the deal is.
I have been looking around online and it seems that the SM SIDB Y splitter cable (P/N 720100-1) has been discontinued. I still need a splitter cable. Is the 14 M SIDB Y (P/N 720103-1) the replacement...
It probably isn't the light you saw but you can get a nice light from Mike at Tricked Out Marine. I have one and it works great. Sticks on with a 3M pad on the bottom. It comes with connectors to...
I don't run Lithium but given the nature of batteries and their amp hour ratings, I would say that a 40AH battery will not last you a 12 hour day and will likely not last a full 8 hour day. 55AH AGM...
In my 1998 Skeeter ZX195c, the low oil indicator light broke off. I bought an indicator light to replace it and I was investigating the wiring so I could put connectors on. It seems that my overheat...
A guy in my college club has one of those on his Talon. It is nice and very bright. If I decide to go the RMP route, I may get that one instead.
I have been on the fence about which one to get. On one hand, the RMP light is simple and effective. On the other hand, I have a '98 model Skeeter so my courtesy lights are not the best and it would...
I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I want a set with the floods but I'm not sure I can justify the cost right now.
I didn't even think about the idea of how easy it might be to smash the Russell Marine light. I did like the idea of having the flood lights for early morning rigging or night tournaments. I think...

Has anybody bought any of these lights for their Talons? Been thinking about buying the Russell Marine Products light that replaces the top cap but I stumbled across...
I think I am ready to pull the trigger on buying a big graph for the bow of my '98 ZX195c. I currently run a Lowrance Gen 2 HDS Touch 7 on the console and a 2nd of the same on the bow. I would like...
My 98 ZX195c rides really well. I haven't been in swell that I can't trim down and plow through with no problem. It's a dry ride too. My boat with a OX66 200 and the 12" jackplate has awesome...
Sorry y'all, been tied up with school work and haven't been able to respond. I forgot to measure the pad to prop when I had the boat out last. I assume the prop slip is what I can feel when when the...
Scout, I may not have measured it correctly. I measured from ground to pad then from ground to my approximate prop center line then subtracted. I thought it was deep as well. May have been an...
I don't feel like the prop guy is the problem. My mechanic specializes in building performance outboards and he's been doing it for a long time. I don't think he would continue to use the shop if...
I was running at 5800-5900 rpms before the prop was fixed with no problems. I run 18-20 psi water pressure right now. From what I have found here in the Skeeter forum, a lot of these guys run in the...
Crank, as far as I'm aware nothing has changed besides the prop work. I had the boat in the shop to fix a linkage problem, my mechanic recommended having the prop work done to avoid excess vibration...

It was a linkage problem. A bolt backed out and would not allow the motor to engage reverse. Mechanic had it fixed up in about 3 hours, just waiting on my prop to come back in and I'll be back on the...
I ended up ordering the side mount brackets. A friend of mine has a Vance and used them fine. I have my boat pretty well tuned in where I want it on the plate so I don't reckon it would put me out to...
Gfd, I plan on using the side mount brackets instead of the sandwich brackets. I talked to Minn Kota and Vance today and both seemed to think the side mount would work fine with the Vance.
Thanks for the reply. I think they will work but I wanted to reach out to the community here to see if anyone had actually done it.
Has anyone here ever had only reverse go out in an OX66 engine? I dropped my partner off in the water pre-tournament yesterday and when I came back to get in, he asked if I knew my reverse was out. I...
