I just checked mine last night and I will need to bring it in for the new seal. Oil on intake, air box and around the fly wheel area.
2018 175 Pro XS with 26 hours.
I think Dave is on the right track in this thoughts.
The 175 ProXS has a WOT range of 5400-6000 rpm. Maybe try dropping in pitch and get the rpm's up closer to 6000

I had one on my 175 ProXS Optimax for years and it worked great. Cowling looked like new when I went to sell the motor.
I'm going to...
I've got the Tough Skin covers and they've been great. No scuffing at all.
They are canvas. I modified mine slightly to work with the drift paddle hardware. It would take a little modification to...
It is now hanging on my 14' Ranger Reata 1850LS and in the shed for its winter slumber.
Ordered mine on April 20th, it was delivered on November 16th (30 weeks). It's being installed this week. 175XL Pro XS.
Now the long wait until next Spring to get it broke in.
Nice!
That should be fun.
I ordered a 175 Pro XS in April and was told September 25th, then it was moved to Nov. 12th.
I'm not holding my breath on this date either.
It would be good to get it on the boat-...
The 175 Pro XS has a 1.85 gear ratio
