Just measured and my garage is 19 ft deep
My garage is 18-20 ft deep can’t really remember and my 19 with a 150 fits angled. I will measure garage when I get home 418847
Here’s a close up I’m not sure if it whent lean or maybe cranked the piston. Head does not look damaged like a chunk was flying around410936
410818
well theres the end result
Also checked compression. In all 5 other cylinders for giggles and all are at 95-100 psi
410687
well borescope confirmed what I though had happened hole in the piston. Going to pull head tommorow and see how bad it is when we pull it out of the water
i agree need to figure out where the knock is i believe it is just the cylinder misfiring making the knock . going to compression test the motor tonight and look inside what i believe is cylinder 5(...
Plan is to do compression test tonight or tommorow if I remember to bring home my guage from work. This is a friends motor but I plan to do the work I can which is pretty much everything besides the...
Sorry first pics where really small
Here’s the photos
my 1998 mercury 225 efi developed a knock while cruising around half throttle the other day. pulled all the plugs and found one that looked like this. weighing rebuild vs new powerhead vs rebuilt...
you may not just depends how far the factory placed you foot pedal forward. mine was like 1 in to far back to mount the ultrex pedal
bolts right up. did it on my 19.its a little tight getting the nuts and bolts on and you will have to re drill the foot pedal mount holes probally
measure you bunks and pre make them then next time you go out you install them its easy
should bolt right up one bolt lift it off 3 screws on the pedal
if you already have a onboard and your happy with it just make a quick discconect for it at each battery and use it and save some money?
i know i can in my sabre. its been a while since i looked at a margay
i have mine on the c size mount and no issues its not a heavy unit and size wise is just barely bigger then a helix 7 which ram sells a kit in the c size for. The scotty mount is all plastic was not...
23 fury is going to run very similar to the 24 tempest. As the fury is stiffer in pitch then the tempest. Have you tried any 4 blade props? That 2 stroke may like a bravo 1 xs
Any chance you have tried a fury on your boat the bravo runs around 2 pitches light to a fury . Being as it’s going on a sho I would get a bravo fs as it only has one set of vent holes unlike the. 2...
judging by what you have said the 17p spitfire x7 should in theory get you to around 5400 rpm a 15 should give you 5600 etc given all variables are the same. The standard spitfire is .25 of an inch...
A 26 bravo1xs is a little bit more prop then a 24p fury so I would start there. Do you have a manual or hydro jackplate? On my Sabre I had to go up around an inch when I switched to the bravo xs
i can second what berudd said mercury does not have model years for there motors
gt52 fits no problem on my 24v us2 ultrex
